This facility is intended for:

• testing models of hydrofoils, fixed- and controllable-pitch propellers, nozzles and Z-drive ducted propellers, azimuthal thruster pods

• self-propelled ship model tests with propellers or waterjets

• measurements of forces on hydrofoils and propellers and of propeller-induced hull pressures under cavitation conditions

length: 60m width: 6m depth: 3.5m  Carriage speeds: up to 6m/s Minimum pressure over the free surface: 3·103N/m2 (98% vacuum). Plate-type wavemaker.
